Mobilise Remedial Therapies was founded in 2006 in Toowong, Brisbane. Many years on, Mobilise now specialises in complex and chronic pain management, disability assistance and occupational engagement.

Owners Kath Phillips and Eve Halkowska are passionate about providing innovative, cutting edge Chronic Pain, Pain Physiotherapy, and  Occupational Therapy interventions for the people of Brisbane. Through the combination of a high degree of knowledge and years of experience, the therapists of Mobilise offer client-centred, hands-on therapies to address chronic pain, injury management, disability, pain physiotherapy and occupational therapy needs.

Eve is an experienced and knowledgeable specialist Pain Physiotherapist. As well has holding a Masters in Physiotherapy (University of Qld), and a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy, she also holds a Master of Science in Medicine in Pain Management and a Professional Certificate in Psychology of Pain from the University of Sydney.

Eve underwent a rigorous titling process by the Australian Physiotherapy Association to become one of the very few APA Titled Pain Physiotherapists in the Brisbane area.

Having a particular interest in the physiology and neurobiology of pain, Eve offers a unique neuroscience-based physiotherapy approach to the treatment and management of chronic pain. Kath Phillips

Occupational Therapist

BOccThy (Hons), BHSc MST

Kath founded Mobilise Remedial Therapies in 2006, and has many years of experience assisting clients experiencing chronic pain, disability and mental health conditions. She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons)  and a Bachelor of Health Science in Myotherapy. Kath has a special interest in assisting people to manage and reduce the impacts of chronic pain upon their participation in all activities in daily life. She also works with adults who have a disability or mental health condition to engage in those activities that they need to, or want to participate in.

As an occupational therapist, Kath is able to offer functional capacity and activities of daily living assessments, environmental assessments, assistive technology prescription, and occupational assessment and modification for clients. She works with adult clients on an ongoing basis to improve daily living skills, helping people to manage the impacts of chronic pain, mental health conditions, chronic conditions and disability.

Conveniently located in Taringa Central, our clinic offers convenient undercover parking and lift or ramp access to the clinic. Our physiotherapist and occupational therapist can also complete home visits if that is easier for you. We are also very close to Taringa train station and bus stops.
