How do I make an appointment?
To book your Physiotherapy appointment you can call our clinic on 0473 090 442. You can also book online here.
How much does it cost to see a Physiotherapist at Mobilise?
The cost of a 60 mim Pain Physiotherapy appointment at Mobilise is $193.99 (Initial/Follow Up).
If you are a private patient and have private health insurance you can claim your rebate on the spot via our HiCAPS machine. Your gap payment will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your insurance provider for more details.
If you have been referred by your GP under the EPC/CDM scheme, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $60.34 per session and only pay the gap. You will be charged the full amount on the day of your appointment and Medicare will reimburse your session either on the spot or within 24hrs.
If you have been referred under the NDIS scheme, your appointments will be charged through your plan.
Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist?
You do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist. However, if you would like to use Medicare to get a rebate for your physiotherapy treatments, you can ask your GP for a referral under the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)/Chronic Disease Management (CDM) scheme. Please discuss your eligibility with your GP.

How long is my Physiotherapy appointment?
Unlike most physiotherapy clinics, Mobilise offers 60min appointments to ensure thorough assessments and comprehensive treatements. Our Pain Physiotherapists take their time to listen to their patients to understand the complexities of their pain condition and the factors contributing to it. The 60min appointment ensures that a hands-on treatment is provided during the same session to address your pain and provide you with advice and a rehabilitation plan.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. If you have any copies of scan reports or other medical documentation related to your condition, please bring them with you. Prior to your appointment we will also ask you to fill out a Consent Form and an Intake Form.
Can I bring a support person to my appointment?
Living with chronic pain can be very distressing. Everyone deals with the impacts of chronic pain on their health and quality of life in different ways. Some patients find it helpful to bring a support person to their health appointments. So, yes you are welcome to bring a chaperone to your physiotherapy appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel your appointment, please allow at least 24hrs notice. This means we can offer your slot to another patient who may need a treatment that day or who has been placed on our appointment waiting list. A late cancellation fee may apply. Please contact us for more details.
Is parking available at Mobilise?
2 hours free parking is available beneath the Taringa Central building.
